Some research suggests that Mod GRF 1‑29 may bind to Growth Hormone‑Releasing Hormone (GHRH) receptors on somatotroph cells in the anterior pituitary, potentially initiating signaling pathways that can lead to growth hormone release. Meanwhile, GHRP‑6 may activate the ghrelin receptor (Growth Hormone Secretagogue Receptor type 1a), which is also implicated in stimulating growth hormone secretion.
